Signs That Your Life Is Changing for the Better, Even If It Doesn’t Always Feel That Way!
The dark before the light. The beauty of life's low points is that from there, things can only go up. In addition, we can of course be comforted by the fact that everything in life is transient, even the bad times. It usually catches us by surprise and only very few people ever have a plan B or an ace up their sleeve. If you find yourself at such a low point in life, we have good news for you. As we all know, it’s always darkest just before dawn. You'll be on an upward trend as well If you can recognize some or all of the following pointers.
1. Life is not a walk in the park
You've probably learned this the hard way when things don’t go too well for you. But what we really want to say is this: No one is born with a ticket to happiness and carefree living. Even the seductively shiny silver spoon has its pitfalls. No one gets to see life exclusively from the sunny side, and this is where the universal justice of our human existence lurks. However, we each hold the power to decide how we play the hand that fate deals us.
2. You are both the problem and the solution
We would like to have better news for you, but no one will come to rescue you from this mess that is your current life. The brave knights in their shining armor have become obsolete, as have the good fairies and the dragon slayers from fairy tales. If you want to be able to change something about your current situation, you are the only viable solution to it. You probably also share responsibility for the problem, so it is only fair to cut this Gordian knot yourself. When this unpleasant truth becomes apparent to you, you are on the road to improvement.
3. Everybody is against you
Life sometimes has strange ways of alerting us to coming changes. It always pulls a very special trick out of its bag when a great improvement is coming that we've really earned. However, for this to happen, things have to crash and fall apart beforehand. If you have the feeling that everyone has suddenly conspired against you, one conflict follows the next and seemingly no one wants to be on your side anymore, a new beginning is on the horizon. Take these hints as a friendly suggestion of who your friends are in an emergency and who will leave you in bad times faster than you can say goodbye.
4. Your existence up to now feels pointless
Sometimes we drive our lives into a brick wall ourselves. This doesn't happen overnight, but is due to a number of bad decisions, as well as events through no fault of our own. It's no coincidence that, when it comes to sustenance, we begin to wonder if this can really be all there is or if there must be something more for us. If it slowly dawns on you that you have been paying homage to fake idols and chasing after wrong ideals for the last few years, now is the time for a reorientation.
5. Being you is enough
Our lives sometimes undergo a crash test because we have simply lost sight of ourselves. Think back to your youth or the time of school and training. What dreams did you have back then and where did they go? We can spend a lot of time on the wrong train, but at some point, our eyes are opened. Then it's payday and high time we see the person in the mirror again more for what they really are, the real us. Following some role model or living someone else's dream obviously hasn't made us happy. So, what does your inner self really want? And who, in fact, is this person who you have to deal with 24/7?
6. Your self-confidence reaches unimagined heights
It is amazing how quickly our ego can mobilize its troops when it's necessary. When we find ourselves at a crossroads in life, we suddenly unleash unimagined strength. We recognize our value and finally know exactly what we owe ourselves.
7. You discover the truth of traditional wisdom
It doesn't matter whether it's "good things take time," "choose a profession you love and you won't have to work a day in your life," or "you made your bed, now lie in it." All these sayings of our ancestors contain a core truth. Pay attention to them. They are not the worst advisors you can take on board in times of crisis.
8. Your feelings hold more weight
For intellectually minded people, this may be a completely new experience. But we humans have not learned the whole range of emotions for nothing. Allow your feelings and pay more attention to them. In the end, they determine your course much more than your thoughts.
9. You welcome other people
When things are going badly for us, we tend to spontaneously withdraw from the world like wide-eyed animals. If, on the other hand, the clouds clear and land finally comes into view, then social interaction become more enjoyable for us again.
10. You can recognize what you no longer want
One of the most important realizations in our lives is this: If you at least have a good idea of what you no longer want, you're halfway to where you actually want to be.
Today's Conclusion: Before things can get better, they have to get worse.
Unfortunately, life doesn't always go comfortably along a predictable, straight path. Sometimes, we get banged up pretty good and our patience and trust are put to the test. But improvement is in sight, even if it all has to go downhill quite a bit first. Always remember: Rain is followed by sunshine and winter is followed by the spring. The rest of our existence is governed by these laws of nature, and we can rely 100% on this fact. That's it for today. Thanks so much and see you soon.
